We love food.

 

We’ve created something home grown. Local food, home cooked meals, and a simplicity to our ingredients and tastes. We created something we love, and hope you love just as much.

 

Our name comes from a few sources; our old favorite dog, a character from the Muppets, the simplicity of French food. The word itself means, “Beautiful Gaze” which we hope sums up what we’re trying to achieve.

At Beauregard we do our part by partnering with great local businesses in our community, operating as regeneratively as we can and showing up, putting love into everything we do and welcoming everyone with the offer of enlightened hospitality.

Beauregard Café was named after a beloved family member; wise, gentle, strong, always there in the line of duty. His name was inspired by Custodian of the Muppets, Beauregard.

 

Being a custodian is an integral part of society. We all have the opportunity to be stewards of the people we touch, the land we interact with and the ecosystem we are a part of.

Chef’s Manifesto – My guidelines for cooking

-Cook with your heart and soul but first get to know them.

-Be proud of your roots, be proud of your home, be proud of your family and its culture; that’s your inspiration.

-Respect ingredients and the people who produce them.

-Do as little as possible to an ingredient when it’s perfect and at its peak.

-Be grateful for the food, the company you are sharing it with.  It’s the only prayer you really need.

-Cooking is an act of love.

-Cook with your family as often as you can.

-Don’t cook for your ego.  Be authentic.

-Don’t try to make the food submit to your artistic inclinations.  You must have craft before art.

Through many fun years involved in the food, beverage and tourism industry, I am on the constant quest to provide enlightened hospitality. Beauregard Cafe & Provisions was created as a regenerative enterprise, meaning connecting and supporting our community, doing our best to respect the people and natural systems we share our beautiful land with. I also love wearing Hawaiian shirts.

I was lucky enough to be asked to be part of the BEAUREGARD adventure. Having been in the food, restaurant and retail industry for many years, I am still learning new things and building new skills every day. Humbling and exciting all at the same time

  • Amazing breakfast! We loved this place, we took our 4 year old son in for their opening day. They seemed organized, kind, and the place had a great feel to it. Will be back to try their lunch as soon as possible! Lots of options and high quality retail materials to purchase. They seem to use very high quality ingredients in their food. thank you for the morning!

  • Awesome, locally run cafe with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I brought my kids (2 and 4) for breakfast and we all loved it. The food was fresh and locally sourced. My kids devoured the granola chia fruit bowl and a couple crossants 😀 Plus, we took home one of their mac and cheeses for lunch! It was amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough!
